Service Description
The goal of this class is to show and teach you, and your dog to have an enjoyable and satisfying walk and to teach you how to make your dog’s recall a lot more reliable. This is a very active class with lots of homework and you will get the most out of it by practicing the homework every day at home and on walks. Please when coming to class have an open mind and be willing to commit to the exercises, don’t worry they are lots of fun. We will introduce you to long line walking, learn new games and explore and incorporate games you already do with your dog on your walks. We will put much emphasis on letting your dog sniff (and why that is important and beneficial to your dog) on their walks while working on “leave it” and not pulling. What do dogs like to do? SNIFF. In fact they do everything with their nose, they can smell 10000 better than us. Walking your dog for thirty minutes in a heel position, or even on short loose leash, is like walking a human blind folded for those thirty minutes!! Let them sniff! Just even after reading this, on your dog's next walk, let them sniff the whole walk, be patient.
