Control Unleashed: Advanced Pattern Games for the Distracted Dog Advanced Control Unleashed builds on the exercises learned in the foundational class to work in greater proximity to distractions, sharpen human-canine communication and to introduce the concept of the dog as a voluntary participant in our training. This class is designed to provide proactive training to: ● Build your dog's ability to pay attention in distracting environments ● Improve your dog's ability to manage their arousal levels. ● Proactively teach handlers how to keep their dogs from becoming reactive. ● Have dogs learn to make choices and communicate those choices to handlers. This class is a great fit for those planning to participate in dog sports like agility, but also for any handler of a young, easily distracted, impulsive and/or insecure dog. This a positive reinforcement-based training class; food and toy rewards are utilized throughout the course. No makeup sessions will be offered. This class is not for aggressive dogs or dogs with a bite history. This is a six -week class that is open to graduates of the foundational Control Unleashed course. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun learning environment that will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to successfully work with your dog!
