Control Unleashed: Pattern Games for Puppies Based on Leslie McDevitt’s acclaimed book series of the same name, Control Unleashed is a training program for students and dogs who are ready to strengthen their communication and connection around distractions. This class is designed to provide proactive training to: ● Build your puppy's ability to pay attention in distracting environments ● Improve your puppy's ability to manage their arousal levels. ● Proactively teach handlers how to keep their puppies from becoming reactive. ● Have puppies learn to make choices and communicate those choices to handlers. This class is a great fit for those planning to participate in dog sports like agility, but also for any handler of a young, easily distracted, impulsive and/or insecure dog. This is a positive reinforcement-based training class; food and toy rewards are utilized throughout the course. No makeup sessions will be offered. This class is not for aggressive dogs or dogs with a bite history. This class is open to puppies between 3 and 12 months old that have at least three parvo/distemper vaccinations. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun learning environment that will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to successfully work with your puppy!
