Service Description

Rats Sports 2 is a six-week class for all teams that have successfully completed our five-week Rat 1 class! Or for teams that have received our approval. In this class, we will continue working on the dog finding the rat and increase the difficulty of the searches by going outside and adding distractor boxes! You can jump in any Thursday, sign up, and come for six weeks! The Introduction to Rat Sports Class is designed for both beginners and experienced dog-sport teams. Rat sports are an ideal entry point for handlers new to dog activities because they tap into dogs’ natural instincts, and the lower levels are simple, fun, and confidence-building. Throughout the course, dogs will be introduced to the two main rat-sport organizations, each with a different trial style. Teams will gain exposure to both formats so you can explore which suits your dog best. Requirements All dogs must be up to date on Parvo, Distemper, and Rabies vaccines, and proof of vaccination is required prior to attending class.
